Full-Time Nanny

Typically 30 to 40 hours a week on a set schedule, live-in or live-out. A full-time nanny takes on the daily rhythm of your children: meals, naps, school runs, activities, homework, bath and bedtime, and the tidying and laundry connected to the children. Many families also ask for cooking for the children, light housekeeping, or help with tutoring. All of it is agreed in writing before she starts.

Part-Time Nanny

A regular and predictable schedule, fewer than 30 hours a week. Common arrangements are weekday mornings, after-school hours, or two or three full days. Part-time nannies are often the right answer for school-age children or for a parent working from home.

Overnight Nanny

The overnight nanny assumes responsibility for the child through the night. Her duties include preparing bottles, and supports the family sleep routine.
