Hi, I'm Sofia, the founder of Ms. Nanny
I grew up between Portuguese and Indian cultures, which gave me a deep appreciation for the traditions, routines, and family values that shape many households.
When I moved to Dallas, I realized there were no childcare services designed with cultural understanding in mind, even though many families value having someone who understands their traditions and routines caring for their children.
That's why I created Ms. Nanny — to provide a thoughtful childcare service that families can truly trust.

Mission
Better lives on both sides of the match.
Our mission is to make parents' lives better and easier by finding them the right caregiver and supporting them along the way. When you're building a career and raising children, time is the one thing you never get back.
We also want to raise the standard for nannies, because caregivers should be treated as professionals: employed on payroll, with documented income and the protections that come with it.
Ms. Nanny's mission is much more than connecting nannies to families — it's about making sure the right values are passed to the next generation.
Vision
More than a placement agency.
Our goal is to create a community: events where families and nannies connect, share experiences, learn from each other, and have fun together. Workshops and webinars for caregivers on interviewing, taxes, and child development.
I come from a multicultural background, half Portuguese and half Indian, and I believe it's by being in contact with people who think differently that we evolve as humans. All kids benefit from being in touch with other cultures and traditions.
